If you have emotionally or physically distanced yourself from a parent or caregiver, this support group offers connection without judgment, pressure, or “family should” narratives.
You didn’t imagine it. You didn’t overreact. And you’re not cruel for choosing distance.
About the group:
This group is for adult children (18+) who are estranged from their parents or caregivers.
We meet virtually on the last Thursday of each month from 6-7pm via secure telehealth platform.
You must be located in Ohio during meeting times, per my licensure requirements.
The group is free to all participants.
You must text GROUP to (330) 234-9694 to join. This allows me to screen each new member to ensure the safety of all participants.
A first name and e-mail address is required to attend meetings. This does not sign you up for any marketing e-mail or SMS correspondence.
This is an affirming space. All sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, body sizes, cultural backgrounds, and neurodivergences are welcomed.
Parents and caregivers who are estranged from their adult children are not welcome at this meeting. Please respect your adult children’s need for space during this time. I am happy to provide more appropriate resources upon request.
