Estrangement Support Group

Estrangement is what happens when harm is real and repair isn’t.

A young woman with curly hair looks distressed as multiple hands point accusatory fingers at her.

If you’re an adult who has emotionally or physically distanced yourself from a parent or caregiver, this support group offers connection without judgment, pressure, or “family should” narratives.

You didn’t imagine it. You didn’t overreact. And you’re not cruel for choosing distance.

* This group is only open to individuals in Ohio.

* $10 donations will be used to offset the cost of food, drinks, and supplies for in-person sessions, as well as compensate me for my time and expertise. No fee is required to attend.

* This is an affirming space. All sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, body sizes, cultural backgrounds, and neurodivergences are welcomed.

* Parents and caregivers who are estranged from their adult children are not welcome at this meeting. Please respect your adult children's need for space during this time. I am happy to provide more appropriate resources upon request.
